The exciting news that everyone was waiting for (apparently) was the announcement of a new box set. Backtracks is a new 3 CD, 2 DVD, 1 LP rarities collection for all those die hard AC/DC fans out there who still want more. Seeing as last years album was such a hit it is a little bit of a surprise that the record company felt the need to dig so far into the past just yet.

Foggy Notions :

Announce that experimentalists Health will play Whelans tomorrow night supported by Pictureplane and www.myspace.com/thewoundsband.

Mumford & Sons :

A special album launch gig in celebration of the release of “Sigh No More” is announced for 500 lucky fans. The show will take place across the water in a barn on Standon Lordship Farm on the 5th of October.
