€50? The Chic!!!

So Chic have been confirmed for The Savoy in Cork with the day being Thursday, 27th May.

One of, if not the highlight of the 2009 Electric Picnic in Stradbally those who opted for Madness (which I did and have no regrets as they were fantastic) now get a second chance to see the band freak out in a smaller venue.

However the initial smiles have turned to grumbles as the price for the Savoy was set at €50. This price may be justifiable for somewhere like The O2 but the Savoy? Time will only tell.

Chic will also take in the Tripod on the Friday, May 28th. Tickets for the Dublin show are more around the €40 mark.
