Eels announce second 2010 album
Big announcement from Eels camp this afternoon with the confirmation that Mark Oliver Everett‘s musical vehicle will release the third and final installment of a trilogy with Tomorrow Morning coming out in August.
The first two thirds of that trilogy, Hombre Lobo and End Times (already pencilled in since January as one of my albums of 2010), have already more than made up for a four year absence in new releases from the band.
Added to this the confirmation of a world tour means Eels fans have and will be pretty spoiled this year!
Irish fans have known for a few weeks now that the tour will include an eagerly awaited Electric Picnic performance in September.
