New Release Highlights 21st Jan 2011 (24th for the UK)

Nothing like a bite of Sam Beam‘s brain to help ease you through January. Kiss Each Other Clean is the fourth studio album from Iron And Wine and is followed up swiftly by a U.S. Tour that kicks off in Los Angeles on the 25th January and extends to Europe on the 2nd February with a show in Stockholm. The stand-out date for us here in Ireland is March 14th when Sam brings a full band to The Olympia Theatre in Dublin.

*If anyone is about Cork I recommend popping in to Jim and Albert in Plugd Records. If you do not find any of the above (but you probably will) you definitely find at least one little gem or you can simply email the shop to place an order : plugd@gmail.com Plugd Records is located on Caroline Street (off Oliver Plunkett Street facing Cyprus Avenue)

If located elsewhere I strongly recommend picking up at least one album when you can from your local independent store. Most independents now take orders by email and post out the stock if you are unable to get to the store so it may be worth checking out.
