Plugd + Triskel = :)
It may not have appeared on this weeks Gig of the Week but that is simply because it would have been more suitable in an Event of the Month post.
Plugd Records, Corks beloved indie record store, returns to us as V3.0 (I think) with Jim and Alberts relocation of the shop from the temporary Caroline Street abode to the fancier Tobin Street as part of the Triskel Arts Centre revamp.
The opening date is tomorrow, Saturday Feb 12th and the festivities for the day include free shows from Corks First Blood Part II and Amsterdams Juju & Jordash.
Rounding off the night will be an appearance from New Zealands psychedelic noise project Our Love Will Destroy The World. It may just be the best night of the year so far.
