A.M.P.
An interesting new concept kicked off in The Quad on Tuckey Street (Cork) last night.
The night is labelled A.M.P. (your guess is as good as mine but it is more about using your imagination) and was conceived by Ronan Leonard. The idea is that a complete novice to the dj-ing scene gets shown the basic ropes and gets an hour or so to play some tunes. Simple! To get a chance to wield the power simply contact Ronan via the facebook page below and arrange to send on a mixtape or playlist.

Ashling and Colleen Cronin kicked it all off last night with some great tunes (such as The Postal Service and Yuck) and Aoife Conway will pick up the mantle next Sunday. Myself, the definition of novice dj, will stick together a few tracks the weekend after so please feel free to pop in. It’s free!
