MTV Unplugged Unearthed Post 2

Last week we kicked off a little article called MTV Unplugged Unearthed which aims to shine a spotlight on a show that was responsible for some legendary performances but seems to have faded from memory a little in recent years. Last Tuesday we took a look at the beautiful Bjork.

Next up to the bat we have San Diego rockers Stone Temple Pilots whose appearance in the MTV studios aired in 1994 (recorded in November 1993). The show included mostly tracks from Core, the bands multi-platinum selling debut album but also featured a first live performance of “Big Empty” which was soon to appear on Purple.
