The Shins Announce U.S. Tour Dates
After a time-out which included James Mercer‘s Broken Bells project The Shins have announced a small string of tour dates for the U.S. and Canada spanning August to October.
The shows have all been booked for intimate venues which will give fans a chance to hear tracks from the bands fourth album which will be recorded immediately after the tour.
I guess that means it will be unlikely any European dates will be announced but the good news is that the band are back touring and an album is on the way so that’s a shiny light at the end of what seemed a potentially dark tunnel for many Shins fans who were worried that the Broken Bells recordings might possibly mean an end to The Shins as we know it.
