Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard
Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard kickstarted their Irish tour last night with a gig in Galway and will take the show south with an appearance in Cork’s Crane Lane Theatre later this evening.
Lewis fans will be hoping to hear some new material with A Turn In the Dream-Songs, the songwriter, artist and comic book creator’s latest and sixth studio album, set for release this Friday (October 7th).
The anti-folkster is always an entertaining live act with his well articulated stories-within-songs as colourful as Lewis’ incredible comic-book creations.
Tonight’s show is an early one (approx. 8.30pm) and tickets are priced at €12.
