Competition : Win tickets to see A Winged Victory for the Sullen in Cork

Tiny shards of life emanated from The Half Moon Theatre last year with the oft-forgotten venue hosting a couple of gigs including the quite special Vermontian, Sam Amidon.

2012 will see the Half Moon continue its revival with the Cork leg of The Certain Three (Katie Kim, Puzzle Muteson and The Lost Brothers) tour arriving on January 14th to be followed by A Winged Victory for the Sullen on the 18th.

The latter, an instrumental collaboration between one half of drone duo Stars Of The Lid‘s, Adam Wiltzie, and L.A. composer Dustin O’Halloran (who appeared on the soundtrack to Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette), pay a first visit to Ireland after the release of their eponymous, gloriously crafted debut album last year.
