New EP from Grizzly Rossen

The factory-like conveyor belt for indie bands that is Brooklyn spat out pysadelic-folksters Grizzly Bear almost ten years ago. This Spring, one quarter of GB i.e. Daniel Rossen (who is also one half of the more experimental Department Of Eagles) is set to release a solo EP before the creators of 2009’s Veckatimest hit the touring trail in the Summer including an exclusive festival appearance at End of the Road across the pond in Dorset.

Originally planned for a new Grizzly Bear album, Rossen has decided to use the EP as a way of easing his way back into songwriting after an extended break from his primary duties so it is likely a new album with his three buddies should be on the cards sooner rather than later.

Silent Hour/Golden Mile is out on Warp on March 16th but give the piano lament ‘Saint Nothing’ a whirl below.
