Winner of tickets to A Winged Victory… in the Half Moon, Cork

At this stage you hopefully know already but for those who do not minimalist beauty-makers A Winged Victory for the Sullen play The Half Moon Theatre on Wednesday (Jan 18th) and for the past two weeks or so a competition has been running on the blog for two tickets to see the awesome duo.

The closing date for the comp. was last night so the winner has been contacted

I usually do a big drumrolly thing and announce the winner’s name but recently realised anyone could just walk up and say the name if they were evil. Pure evil that is so I have changed it to anonymous and will do so from now on.

Congratulations to the winner – let’s call him/her John/Jane Doe from hereonin – and thanks again to the wonderful folk in the Cork Opera House for passing on the prize.

For those unfortunate peoples who were not so lucky this time I seriously recommend forking out the cash anyway as I feel it promises, especially after seeing The Certain Three on Saturday night, to be a very intimate night indeed. Welcome back Half Moon!
