Exclusive Stream: When Good Pets Go Bad – Come Down/No Way

Manic pop with a Buzzcocks-inspired twist of punk, When Good Pets Go Bad riotously return with double a-side ‘Come Down’/’No Way’

Physically available on limited tape cassette only (in a choice of pretty pink or yellow), the fun-loving Cork foursome’s second release will be available to purchase in Plugd Records Friday (April 20th) and to download from bandcamp – at a perfectly affordable pay-as-you-please price – that very same day.

However, it being Record Store Day and all on Saturday, I seriously recommend poking your head in to Plugd on Saturday to see first hand how important such independent record stores are to upcoming, unsigned bands such as WGPGB.

When Good Pets Go Bad are set to introduce the new tunes to Irish ears over the coming weeks with gigs in Dublin (the midnight hour in Whelan’s on April 19th) and Cork (Triskel Arts Centre on Saturday, April 28th). Dublin’s retro ravens September Girls appear on the bill for both nights. To get a taster of just how good those good pets are when they turn bad (phew…) stream Come Down/No Way in its entirety below.
