Festival news: Josh T. Pearson for Kilkenny Arts Festival
Country-folk renegade Josh T. Pearson returns to Ireland with a couple of late Summer dates including the 2012 Kilkenny Arts festival.
Already announced previously for Whelan’s, the former Lift To Experience frontman – who wrapped an early-afternoon Cork crowd around his finger at Southern Gothic last year – will visit Kilkenny on the Saturday (18th August) of the arts gathering. Word has it that a certain Rachel is set to join the Texan as part of an always impressive line-up (which has featured incredible acts such as Low and Mark Kozelek in recent years) but not 100% confirmed as of yet so apologies for teasing if it doesn’t come true…
