Human League to play Murphy’s Little Big Weekend

Eighties poptronica starlets The Human League have been confirmed as the main attraction for Murphy’s Little Big Weekend, now in its fourth successive year.

In fact, there will be three LB weekends this year with the first taking place over the May bank holiday weekend. As well as the creators of multi-million selling single ‘Don’t You Want Me’ the weekend will feature free gigs from Fred*, The Frank & Walters*, and The Walls* as well as a food fair and a Sunday trad session curated by Clonakilty’s De Barra’s.

Like other Murphy’s free events the only way to claim tickets is to enter the random draw by clicking the link here although the event does not seem to have been added yet. Great if you bag yourself a free ticket but wickedly cruel if hardcore fans are the ones to miss out.

– Murphy’s Little Big Weekend takes place on Cork’s Beamish & Crawford Site May 4th, 5th and 6th

  • Is the Vox Swap session for 1 or 2 songs, do you know? Or is it for all of the band's set?

I'd much prefer those bands playing with their usual members!

Just one or two as far as I can tell Eoin.
