Time is flying by isn't it? Seems like only yesterday I was posting about The Hard Ground back in January (see post here) who are set to officially unveil the first single from their debut album Broken Conversations in the Half Moon.
'Pawn' is nothing like what you will hear from any contemporary Cork bands as we go to print (or should I say post) - if only speaking about the lavish string arrangements involved - with the Leeside quintet producing their own classy style of alternative pop and the Opera House's little sister venue should prove to be a perfect fit for their musical stylings. Fellow Cork muso Elly O'Keefe supports.
Good news is The Hard Ground will appear on The Cork Music Show Sunday week at 4pm (April 15th), popping in to Cork FM studios for a bit of a chat and maybe even a live song.
- The Hard Ground will play the a href="http://www.corkoperahouse.ie/category/genre/half-moon-theatre">Half Moon in Cork on Thursday, 5th April
- Tickets are priced at €8 (€5 concession) and available from the venue
