Forbidden Fruit: Countdown – 2 days to go

“Well it seems so real I can see it,
And it seems so real I can feel it,
And it seems so real I can taste it,
And it seems so real I can hear it,
So why can’t I touch it?”

Because it is still two days away silly!

Grimes

Who?: Grimes
When?: Sunday, June 3rd – 3.15pm Undergrowth Stage
Why?: 2012 has already been quite a year for 23-year-old Claire Boucher‘s alter ego: signed to legendary indie record label 4AD, more positive press coverage received in the past two months than in the previous two years of her still relatively young career combined, lauded left, right and centre (from Pitchfork plaudits to New York Times niceties) all on top of a whole host of famous festival bookings including Barcelona’s Primavera Sound and none other than this weekend’s Forbidden Fruit performance. I recommend getting to the Undergrowth Stage early on Sunday. Really early.

The Field

Who?: The Field
When?: Saturday, June 2nd – 4.30pm Original Stage
Why?: If for some reason you don’t happen to catch Axel Willner‘s set at FF then you have a second bite at the cherry as himself and fellow Fruitee Toby Kaar play a Forbidden Fruit after party in The Button Factory later that night.
