Cork Gig Guide (July 23rd – July 29th)

The Cave: Thu-Sat, Mitchelstown

Ironic that on the week that the sun appears in the sky the gig(s) of the week takes place hundreds of feet below the surface in a deep, dark Cave.

For past G-Man interviews with a number of the acts involved in the Cork Opera House-curated adventure click below:

For those who cannot make the pilgrimage to Mitchelstown on Friday but are big Puzzle Muteson fans then Gulpd Café is the place to be on Thursday night as the Isle of Wight-based songwriter plays an intimate, FREE session on Tobin Street.

Elsewhere, Former Monarchs vocalist/pianist/drummer Jonathan Pearson‘s electro-classical side project North Side Drive unveils a debut EP on Castle Street in The Roundy (Friday), Ping Pong bring Ensemble Economique to the Half Moon Theatre and The Spook of the Thirteenth Lock visit The Pavilion (both Saturday).
