New music: Melody’s Echo Chamber

With a birth-name as striking as Melody Prochet, it is a wonder the Paris-based multi-instrumentalist felt the need to use an alter-ego. Alas that is the case but admittedly Melody’s Echo Chamber does have its own ring.

And so does ‘Endless Shore’, the first track made available for public hearing from the psychadelia-loving melody-maker’s debut album, expected in October on London’s Weird World – home to Peaking Lights, Washed Out and more – who have just inked her name on a shiny new contract.
