The shortlist for the Grafton Media Blog Awards has been published and – apologies if this is really geeky – but I am very delighted to reveal that The G-Man blog has made the shortlist for Best Music Blog 2012.
It’s an absolute pleasure to be nominated alongside the talented likes of 2 U 1 Bestow, Swear I’m Not Paul, Golden Plec and dozens more avid music nuts dedicating their free time to blogging about their current favourite bands be they Irish or international. The Blog Awards Ireland celebrates the best in Irish blogging by creating 30 categories which offer plenty of scope for bloggers. The event will provide a night of good craic and celebration as quality writing is rewarded and online friends meet up offline.
A huge thanks to everyone who voted for the blog in the various categories but even more so for the folks who return to the site regularly to check up on what I am blabbering on about. For some highlights (according to the number count) here are some highlights from the past year.
