Fellow Cork-based e-inkers Noise have announced the full details of the inaugural Noise Weekender. Our musical brethren's three day blow-out stands to be nothing short of spectacular with the hallowed halls of Plugd Records and the Triskel Arts Centre braced to host some of the country's finest talents not to mention one or two international guests of honour.
Synth supergroup No Spill Blood, Out on a Limb stalwarts Windings and Icelandic gloom gods Dead Skeletons lead a relentless charge of talent that will also include Trumpets of Jericho and The Altered Hours, two of the most exciting young bands in the country, never mind Cork not to mention an official Leeside launch for Mumblin’ Deaf Ro's Cheer Up Charlie Brown, the songwriter's recently released record which is currently creating the most charming waves imaginable further north.
The full line-up as of now is:
|No Spill Blood||---||Dead Skeletons|
|Windings||---||The Altered Hours|
|Trumpets of Jericho||---||REID|
|Nanu Nanu||---||Magic Pockets|
|Für Immer||---||Cormac O'Caoimh|
