John Blek & The Rats UK dates & post Plugd recap

Well that was fun...

The first G-Man Presents... show of the year was played out in front of a full-house in Plugd Records on Friday gone with both John O'Connor and Seamus Fogarty running through riveting sets to a very warm and respectful crowd. Thanks to the lovely BrĂd over on We Are Noise, there is some photographic evidence of a thoroughly enjoyable night available below.

Also a huge thanks to both Albert and Jim in Plugd Records for all their help and support, engineer extraordinaire Patrick Cullen (who you may know from bass-playing duties with psych-popsters The Altered Hours) for the pristine sound, the incredibly talented folks over at Pretty Handsome for the sublime poster design, Suzy Bleu for the staggering amount of behind-the-scenes work ensuring everything ran smoothly not to mention everyone who ventured into the city early to support the fantastic musicians on show. The turn-out really warmed the heart and reinforced the faith that a crowd is there for great original music.

Seamus' beautiful record God Damn You Mountain is now on sale in Plugd Records and John Blek rejoins his Rats for a tour of the U.K. beginning in Bath on Wednesday evening. All you folk across the Irish Sea are in for a treat as there are not many who can match John Blek & The Rats in full swing. See below for the full list of tour dates.
