Sigur Ros glide into town…

Loads of Icelandic dreamscape news today as Sigur Ros reveal a new album will be released in June. Entitled Kveikur, the record will be toured in Winter with a date for Dublin’s O2 confirmed for November 16th. A mix of delight and trepidation fills the belly this morning as I just couldn’t imagine a least fitting venue for Jonsi and pals but it really says it all about their “pull” these days that there probably isn’t a better single date location of the same size available. Still though, it’s Sigur Ros…
