The G-Man Presents…This Is The Kit

This Is The Kit for Cork…

With an Other Voices performance already recorded and ready to air on RTÉ in the Spring, Paris-based This Is The Kit return to Irish shores in May with a date lined up for Triskel Art Centre’s TDC auditorium. Led by songwriter Kate Stables, the foursome (sometimes threesome, sometimes five) were named by fellow folk-rocker Sharon Van Etten as her “favorite new artist” as part of a feature for Pitchfork in 2012 so it is with the utmost pleasure that I can confirm Stables and co. will play a Summer G-Man Presents… show.

What others have been saying about This Is The Kit:

“Absolutely georgeous, like an aural bath with the warm water lapping over you”
Cerys Matthews (Catatonia, BBC6 Music)
“…just one of the best things I’ve heard all year. Wonderful, wonderful stuff”
Guy Garvey, (Elbow)
