The excitement experienced whilst running through the weekly ritual of perusing Plugd Records’ candy-coated shelves was heightened this weekend due to the fact that I was accompanied in my quest for sugary ear-sweets by the lovely threesome that is Kate, Jesse and Jamie aka This Is The Kit who had played an enchanting set downstairs only the night before. In fact, it was quite a challenge dragging the Paris-based trio away from Albert and Jim’s holy headquarters. For those enjoyed the TDC show, Kate and co. left a few 7″s behind to proudly populate the Plugd racks so get in there quick if looking to pick up some limited edition This Is The Kit releases.
