Giant Sand‘s latest release Tucson is so big that they had to add another ‘giant’ to their name and, let’s be honest here, the extra syllables are worth the mouth-wrestle. Described incredibly accurately – if unimaginatively – by the host as “absolutely exquisite”, this is last year’s four-track studio session from Giant Giant Sand performed live on KEXP.
