The MDR-hosted and curated Summery treat that was Mountain Dew, a private little get-together deep down in the wilds of Macroom, Co. Cork was nothing short of spirit-lifting, a perfect little pick-me-up for the soul in the sun featuring a mix of local, national and international talent including Cork indie label’s very own Brooklyn songsters, Relatives. Having toured the length and breadth of the country over the previous week or so, the mini-festival was the perfect finale to what will surely be the first of many visits to Ireland in the future.
