Brief burblings with Booka…

Would you believe I spoke to Dublin’s Booka Brass Band twice in the past few days? First with sousaphone player Jack Marks on Cork Red FM’s Green On Red, then the following day with trumpeter Paul Kiernan for Thumped. Word has since broke that their Opera House appearance on Saturday night is completely sold out, not bad for a band formed barely a couple of years ago.
