Festival: Body & Soul want volunteers

Body & Soul put out the call for helpers…

Festival season is well and truly upon us so polish the sunnies, wipe down the wellies and embrace another summer of musical bliss. Armed with optimism, folks may be less well set-up financially so volunteering can be a way of getting around those pricey weekend tickets. Segueing along….

Body & Soul are on the look-out for able helpers which in turn presents the opportunity to see the likes of The Gloaming, Santigold, Sun Kil Moon and more for free in the middle of June. See below for the official details on how you can sign up.

Volunteering is a great way to get involved in one of Ireland’s most exciting, progressive and impactful festivals in exchange for a ticket. Body&Soul volunteers work a range of roles and gain experience in how events and festivals operate from the inside out. For students looking to work in the creative industries, music, visual arts or events production, it’s an invaluable opportunity to make industry contacts and learn from experts . For those that aren’t looking to get into the industry it’s a chance to have great fun and meet new people at a festival that is like no other. Volunteers work shifts so they can still experience the festival and many volunteers are even finished their shifts by the time the gate open.

If anyone is interested in volunteering it doesn’t take long to apply and can be done on the Body&Soul website.
