First solo record from one half of Quasi…
The inimitable and indefatigable Quasi were introduced to me via the album of the month club run by long since missed Dublin shop Fade Records and have been a favourite of mine ever since. One half of that duo, Sam Coomes, (the other being Janet Weiss of Sleater-Kinney) has just announced plans to put out a first ever solo record. Bugger Me hits shelves in August but before then sink into Stride On, the first track released from the album, complete with kooky carnival organ.
