This week in Cork: Inni-K, Wallis Bird, Jack O’Rourke & more…

Cork still slumbers slightly as the festive puds and suds are digested but, following an expected quiet start to the new year a number of shows are on offer this week, including a couple of county dates for indie-folk songwriter Inni-K, who prepares for an upcoming U.K. tour with shows in Bantry (The Mariner, Friday) and Ballydehob (Levis’, Saturday). Wallis Bird plays Leap on Sunday while Cork pianist Jack O’Rourke fits in a batch of midweek Midleton shows in Bird’s namesake on Tuesday and Wednesday.
