Cool country from Courtney Marie Andrews…
Self-produced and recorded with engineer Floyd Reitsma at Litho Studios in Seattle, Honest Life is the new record by Arizona artist Courtney Marie Andrews. Touring since she was sixteen, the new record is a collection of country and folk ballads forged from “a great desire to fit somewhere, when nowhere fits.” With the January blues well and truly battering at my door, ‘Put the Fire Out’ came along and did the opposite, invigorating the mind ahead of another great year for new music.
Beginning with a trip to Norwich on 21st February, Andrews plays a number of U.K. and European dates throughout spring. See loosemusic.com for details.
