Pearl Jam supremo announces two Irish dates…
A roadtrip to Connacht last weekend was heavily sound-tracked by Pearl Jam, notably by their 2002 record, Riot Act. Our travels took us to a lovely little cafe in Galway called TGO, a falafel bar seemingly transported directly from the 90s. Who was on the radio? Eddie Vedder and co. All good so far. The weekend’s events culminated on Sunday night with a Youtube marathon of Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder solo videos watched. What an odd coincidence then for the following morning to be the one where Eddie Vedder confirms two Irish dates with special guest and friend Glen Hansard along for the ride.
