Mason Lindahl has released a new album on Tompkins Square. Kissing Rosy in the Rain arrives on the San Francisco label – also home to the magnificent Gwenifer Raymond – and is the first LP on the indie from the New York-based guitarist. Recorded across Oakland, California and Brooklyn, New York, Kissing Rosy in the Rain is to disappear into the ether of Lindahl’s classical guitar-induced void. At once soothing and terribly disconcerting, this collection of minimalist instrumental compositions belongs to January. Make of that what you will.
