Marisa Anderson to play Clonakilty Guitar Festival

Marisa Anderson returns to Cork with an appearance at the 2022 Clonakilty International Guitar Festival. Armed with a new solo record, Still, Here, the Portland master guitarist is scheduled to visit West Cork on 16th September with the festival in full flight. Anderson last played Cork as part of a low trees/The G-Man Presents… promotion, an exhibition of instrumental guitar on display in Triskel Arts Centre. Described by Stereogum as “understatedly gorgeous”, Still, Here follows on from improvisational and meditative collaborations on The Quickening with Jim White and Lost Futures with William Tyler.

Update:
Marisa Anderson
will appear at The Acoustic Forum with fellow guests Andy Irvine, Kris Drever and Molly O’Mahony on Friday 16th September before a solo show at De Barra’s on the afternoon of Saturday 17th September.
