Festival News: Kilkenny Arts Festival

Kilkenny Arts Festival organisers have confirmed Rachel Grimes for this year’s festival as “rumoured” months ago by this nosey little blog (see here). The St. Canice’s Cathedral show will also feature Irish rising folk-star, Katie Kim, as support.

Texan heartbreaker Josh T. Pearson had already been confirmed to return in April for what is another excellent line-up packed full of beauts such as the “exuberant Balkan flavours” of Ivo Papasov and his Bulgarian Wedding Band and “extraordinary young pianist” Polina Leschenko. For a country in financial ruin there is quite a full calendar for lover’s of music.
