Festival news: Valentia Island
Isle see you in the morning…
Who needs sunshine and warmth when you can grab a cosy blanket and hop on a ferry for a festival experience offering something that little bit different to the usual humdrum events. Building on last year‘s hop, skip and jump from Caherciveen, the 2013 edition of Valentia Island Festival will feature an eclectic swirl of Irish bands and artists (such as David Holmes, New Jackson, Jape and Heathers) topped with an international stawberry in the shape of former LCD Soundsystem soundshifters Pat Mahoney & Nancy Whang who will spin some discs Robinson Crusoe-style during the 3-day weekend.
