Forbidden Fruit News and new music from Tennis

Rumours (see here) are purring that love cats The Cure are to be announced as a headliner for September’s Electric Picnic. An official announcement is at least a month away I would bet but one act has been confirmed for one of Ireland’s shiniest new festivals – albeit not by the promoters themselves – in the form of 4AD‘s Grimes.

The announcement comes in the form of a listing of Claire Boucher‘s Summer tour dates by her own label which will see the Canadian perform at European festivals including Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Field Day in London as well as the Dublin festival.

For more info see here.

– Forbidden Fruit takes place later this year on the grounds of Kilmainham hospital from June 2nd to June 4th
