Live at the Marquee 2014: Elbow & Pixies

Pixies for Cork…

For those gazumped on what to buy your 80’s/early 90’s-obsessed or indie-loving chum for Christmas, then praise your pine-tree topping lucky star (or Aiken) as tickets for seminal alt-rockers Pixies go on sale this Friday. Announcing two shows, one a date with all-conquering Canadians Arcade Fire in Marley Park (June 29th), Black Francis and pals (although now minus long-serving bassist Kim Deal) roll into Cork on 30th June. Tickets are priced at approx. €44 and available from the usuals come 9am Thursday morning.

Elbow have also been announced for next Summer’s party in the tent (24th June).
