Watch Liam Ó’Maonlaí & Séamus Ó’Flatharta perform as part of Fleadhfest 2021

Tháinig Liam Ó’Maonlaí & Séamus Ó’Flatharta le chéile chun ceolchorim fíor-álainn a thaifeadadh mar chuid de Fleadhfest ’21. An bheirt acu ag seinm na cruite agus ag roinnt guth, thaifead an bheirt Amhrán na hEascainne agus ‘Sí Do Mhamó Í mar chuid den fhéile virtual den chuid is mó i mbliana.

Liam Ó’Maonlaí & Séamus Ó’Flatharta paired up to record a truly beautiful set as part of Fleadhfest ’21. Both playing the harp and sharing vocals, the two recorded Amhrán na hEascainne and ‘Sí Do Mhamó Í as part of this year’s mostly virtual festival.

An annual celebration of Irish culture, the 2020 and 2021 editions of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann were cancelled but thankfully Fleadhfest ’21 allowed for limited attendance shows in Sligo with highlights and specially-recorded performances broadcast across the last few weeks by Irish-language channel TG4.

Further stand-out performances include young trad band Geantraí, Declan O’Rourke, Iarla Ó Lionáird and the show’s co-host, Doireann Ní Ghlacáin. For further highlights check out the TG4 YouTube channel.
