Ye Vagabonds release new album and tour date

Ye Vagabonds return with a brand new album on Friday, 13th May. The award winning duo will release Nine Waves through Rough Trade’s River Lea label (Lisa O’Neill, John Francis Flynn). Folk for a new age framed in a tender sibling harmony, the MacGloinn brothers recently took home an RTE Radio One Folk Award for standalone single, I’m a Rover, which they took on a barge tour in 2021. The record features a special cameo appearance from Cormac Begley, the accordionist being a low trees favourite. Accompanying the album launch will be almost a dozen live shows dotted around the country including a visit to Cork’s Everyman Theatre and Connolly’s of Leap. A homecoming appearance in Visual Carlow’s wonderful theatre also stands out.
