Embrace your Roots at Coughlans inaugural Cork Roots Fest

Roots fans rejoice for the good folks at Coughlans Live are set to host a long weekend of Americana and folk. Running under the title Cork Roots Fest, a dozen or more sets of local, national and international artists are scheduled for the Cork venue from Thursday 11th May until Monday 15th May.

Highlights of the weekend include an afternoon session from U.S. musicians Allison de Groot and Tatiana Hargreaves who feature as special guests for folk duo The Lost Brothers (Saturday 13th May). Expect a masterclass in clawhammer banjo and traditional fiddle and tunes from their 2022 record, Hurricane Clarice, a true bluegrass powerhouse.

The line-up also includes The Henry Girls, Malojian, Cormac O’Caoimh and a Monday night sign off from The Roots Ramble. See the current list of shows listed below:
