Find Your Folk at Doolin FolkFest 2023
Festival season is well and truly underway and folk fans the length and breadth of the country should surely be heading west for a stellar line-up at Doolin FolkFest.

The barn of Hotel Doolin hosts an annual gathering of folk and traditional musicians across three days in June with this year’s festival kicking off Friday 9th June. The 2023 line-up welcomes a superb selection of international guests including Aoife O’Donovan, Dirk & Amelia Powell, and Vieux Farke Touré joining homegrown folk heroes Christy Moore, Luka Bloom and Lisa O’Neill in county Clare this weekend.
Traditional
Doolin FolkFest embraces the blurred lines between folk music and traditional Irish music. This year’s schedule continues that tradition as Doolin welcomes Méabh Ní Bheaglaoich, Máirtín Ó’Connor Trio, Sorcha Ní Scolaí and more to the Main Stage at Hotel Doolin.
White Horse Stage
Beloved Cork folk venue The White Horse will curate a second stage featuring a collection of alternative contemporary artists such as Junior Brother, Rowan, and Hannah White. Expect a rowdy country mash-up from Freeman’s Country Carvery (featuring members of John Blek & The Rats) on the Sunday night also. For a full view of the schedule check out the official website.
