Listen to ‘Pyrrhic’ the new album from Elaine Malone

Cork musician Elaine Malone released new record, Pyrrhic, on Pizza Records.

New album – Pyrrhic

Pysch-folk songwriter Elaine Malone‘s début album, Pyrrhic, is out now on Pizza Pizza Records. With a band featuring Sam Clague (Crying Loser), James Christie (The Bonk) and Ruairí Dale (Elastic Sleep), Pyrrhic was recorded with Cathal MacGabhann (The Altered Hours) in Cork City late 2021. The album’s release on 8th September was led by pulsating singles Eat Out Of Your Hand and Moontread, followed by a Cork launch show at Sounds From a Safe Harbour just last week.

Named after the concept of a pyrrhic victory, the record delves into the notion of triumph achieved at too great a cost.
