This week in Cork: Spies, The Altered Hours, Girl Band and more…
True, January is always sparse when it comes to live gigs but every week has thrown up at least one or two illuminating additions to the listings. This week sees Cork Community Printshop/Art For Blind Records celebrate the opening of their brand new band room by letting both The Altered Hours and The Vincent(s) loose on Friday evening. With only 35 available, rumour has it there are only a handful of tickets left so best get yourself to Plugd Records or Cork Community Printshop/Art For Blind Records pronto.
Providing the bread for this tasty rock ‘n’ roll sandwich are Dublin bands Spies and Girl Band who visit The Pavilion Bar (Thursday) and The Crane Lane Theatre (Saturday) courtesy of local promoters The Point of Everything and Alliance.
