From the embers of the duo originally known as Berries Blue, come The Hard Ground who are :

Having supported Fred in the Triskel, THG are now preparing to release their debut album in March/April. In the meanwhile hungry listeners can sample a little taster via The Hard Ground‘s official soundcloud page which will feature two new tracks per week for the next five.
‘Pawn’ and ‘A Spirit Lament’ show the Cork quintet are quite different from anyone else active on the Cork circuit at the moment with Carey and Enright effortlessly switching vocals on top of quite lavish orchestration. Eager to hear more is what I be.
