The Staves for Cork

Staves for MacCurtain Street…

It’s nearly four years since I first interviewed harmonically-gifted Watford trio The Staves for the blog (see here) so it was a wonderful surprise to wake up this morning and see the Staveley-Taylor sisters will visit down south in May. Having visited Leeside a number of times before but this time Emily, Jessica and Camilla will be appearing in the beautiful-but-criminally underused (for music) Everyman Palace Theatre, literally across the road from my apartment! If I Was, the new album is on the way next week with tickets – priced at €22 – onsale from tomorrow. So that’s tickets for both Beck AND The Staves that I need to pick up on Thursday.
